Internal Seminar: Specialist Incentives, AI Adoption, and Patient Welfare in Australia

I presented Specialist Incentives, AI Adoption, and Patient Welfare in Australia at the MUCHE internal seminars in December 2025. This is joint work with Jonas Fooken, and the discussion was especially helpful for clarifying how to frame the paper conceptually.

This project is currently an opinion piece that tries to develop a political economy perspective on AI adoption in specialist care in Australia. At this stage, the focus is not on empirics but on building a coherent conceptual framework, and the seminar feedback was very useful for that.
